MyBeeCalendar doesn't require an account or login. Looking up a bloom calendar only sends the zip code you enter, which we use to geocode your area and cache the resulting calendar for reuse by future visitors to the same zip — we don't tie a zip lookup to your identity.
If you use the feedback form, we collect the message you write and, only if you choose to provide one, a reply-to email address. That's used to read your feedback and reply if you asked for one. We store that address so we can follow up, but we don't add it to our announcements list unless you tick the opt-in box on that form.
If you sign up for site updates, we store the email address you give us, plus your name and zip code if you choose to provide them. We use these only to send occasional announcements about the site — new features, new data, changes worth knowing about. The zip code, if given, is used only so we can make an announcement relevant to your region instead of emailing everyone about one area. We don't sell, rent, or share this list with anyone. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you by replying to any of them.
Like most websites, our hosting and content delivery infrastructure (Amazon CloudFront) logs standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps for security and abuse prevention (for example, limiting how many distinct zip codes a single IP can trigger lookups for in a short period).
This site uses Google AdSense to show ads and Google Analytics to understand site usage. Both rely on cookies and similar technologies.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. The "Fill your nectar gaps" plant recommendations link out to Amazon search results. MyBeeCalendar is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon.com. This doesn't cost you anything extra, and is disclosed again next to the links themselves.
Cached bloom calendars, plant details, gap-advisor recommendations, and crop data are stored indefinitely, keyed by zip code or plant/county identifiers — not by visitor. This data doesn't change year to year, so we don't expire it. Feedback messages are retained only as long as needed to review and respond to them.
Email addresses on the updates list are kept until you unsubscribe. When you unsubscribe we keep a record that you did, so that we don't email you again by mistake if your address turns up somewhere else later. If you'd rather we erase your details entirely, contact us and we will.
MyBeeCalendar is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
